Jr. USY

Jr. USY is our group for 7th and 8th graders.

The Jr. USY advisor is Irena Chain.

Events that Jr. USY enjoys doing include rock climbing, pizza and a movie, bowling, and a mystery bus tour. Jr. USY also has the opportunity to participate in the regional Kadima days / weekends, where they are able to meet Jewish youth from all over Northern California. Additionally, Jr. USY takes part in select USY activities where they can intermingle with high school youth.

A favorite experience amongst the eighth graders is May convention, which is their first regional USY convention. Eighth graders are formally welcomed into USY at this event, enjoying activities such as Shabbat services and ruach session, a formal dance, mixers, study sessions, and free time with friends.

The cost of Jr. USY is $45.00 per year.
